Shelter network

Think beyond a single base

Connect your own observations into a network of useful stops. This approach supports expedition planning without pretending that pre-release location data is complete.

Give every outpost a purpose

Name each stop for something you recognise in your session. Record heat, storage and crafting separately, and note anything you still need to bring. A shelter with unverified facilities should stay an unknown in your plan.

Plan the return as well as the destination

Choose a route back before adding another stop. If a link is only proposed, leave a note saying it has not been travelled. The schematic shows your chosen ordering, not distance, elevation or in-game coordinates.

Recheck after a patch

A saved network is a personal record. Revisit important facilities and paths after updates that affect world layout, construction or survival. The wiki does not automatically change or verify your local notes.
