Use landmarks, then verify them
A recognisable place is a better starting point for a field note than an invented coordinate. Save the label you see in-game, a nearby landmark and what you found. Attach the build to any report intended for publication.
Scenery is not a route guide
Signal #4 shows environment art changes. Those images help establish the game’s atmosphere, but they cannot prove that a location is accessible, safe or stocked with a particular material.
Progress may depend on the world
The store connects exploration with shelter restoration, machine repair and recovering technology. Keep a list of unresolved obstacles so you can return when you have confirmed what each one requires.
